Born from our founder Valerie’s passion for human connection and cultivating healing in others, this space and land offers a unique opportunity to connect with what’s important to you. Valaterra is just a quick drive from Louisville to rural Oldham county, and offers a private, comfortable and peaceful environment for your next workshop, retreat, meeting or special event. No matter how long you choose to stay, the Sanctuary House and acreage are ideal. Our space for a day-time event includes dens, patios, porches, trails and other meeting space for ideal break-out sessions.
Our state of the art, serene house can accommodate individuals up to 20 overnight participants looking for peace and harmony in a natural, spacious environment. Our spacious ground floor meeting area can accommodate around 50 people with seminar style seating, and 40 if you’re in circle.
Whether you access The Sanctuary House and 100+ acre property for personal retreat, or if you choose to use the space to meet your professional needs, we are the perfect setting. I had the privilege of facilitating a retreat at Valaterra this weekend. The space is surrounded by nature and the inside is so beautiful and accommodating.
